Why, Oh Why Disney Channel?!

I used to LOVE Disney Channel! It was just a great way to spend my extra time. I quite enjoyed " That's So Rave, Phil of the Future, and my personal favorite... Even Stevens!!!" But Disney just had to go out and stab me in the back! After all those hours I spent supporting Disney Channel they just went out and created a twenty first century Frankenstein. A.K.A. Hannah Montana

One day Disney had this "wonderful" idea to create a show about a girl who is a pop star, and yet she in disguise goes to a normal high school so no one knows who she really is. First off HA! Like that would truly work out! Sorry to say but just having a different color of hair doesn't do much. You still have the same body form and facials and in Miley Cyrus' case... very crooked teeth. And even if you could fool some people you still would get the obnoxious comments of " Hey you look like that one pop star!" Maybe it's just me, but I would much rather have people waiting on me hand and foot then hear that all the time!

I found this summary of the show Hannah Montana: "Miley Stewart leads a completely normal life, except for one factor. She's teen pop sensation Hannah Montana! She lives with her fun dad Robbie Ray and dorky brother Jackson and has fun with her two best friends Lilly Truscott and Oliver Oken. She goes through average teen problems including pimples, bullies, and the occasional wicked cousin trying to reveal your secret."

No offense to those out there who do enjoy this show, but honestly what is so desirous about this? An average teen that goes through the same problems as me? I already have to deal with my teenage ridiculousness and my own pimples. I don't need to waste a half an hour of my life to see her ridiculous Hollywood made problems and air brushed zits!!!

Since Disney came out with this "thrilling" television series, almost everyone thinks they are just oh so funny and original and call me Hannah Montana. Then when I say I don't enjoy that name they act so confused. Well just to clarify to all you out there, here are the reasons why i do not enjoy this name:

1. I had my name first!!! I have spent years with my name finding wonderful things about it and here Disney comes stomping on it making it into a name of total and complete ridicule. *jerks!*

2. For a year and a half i wore these wonderful torturous devices called "braces." I am not trying to brag or anything... but my teeth are pretty darn beautiful!!! I am very proud of them and now that Hannah Montana has come out and I am to be remembered through her, no one will remember how beautiful MY teeth are! All the pain and moments of smiling at people looking like a retard because i have food hovering about and making friends with my braces, will have been for nothing! (no these are not my teeth)

3. I am not a hillbilly nor have I ever had any deep desires to become one!!!

4. My voice is not whinny!!! (Unless intentionally made so for the purposes of mimicking someone...)

5. I do not write ridiculous songs that are 10 words and repeat the same tune over and over and over again. " Everyone has those days..." Blugh!

6. I most definitely am NOT a blond and have never had an inkling of becoming or wanting to become one!!!

7. I am short and proud of it!!!

8. I am not a spoiled brat!!! My money doesn't just grow on a tree in the backyard. I work for money in order to buy things that i am drawn to.
Trust me I could go on and on!!! Let's just say that i would much rather be named after a fruit then a state that i have never traveled too and have never planned on venturing to...

Getting To Know Us

So you're probably thinking why would we title our blog "Easily Entertained" right? Well, let us tell you a little story... Once upon a time we were having  a spend the night and it was very late at night. ( yes that is a key part..) We were bored and we were contemplating how we could solve this problem. While laying on the bed, we stared at my wonderful ceiling and I (hannah) said "Hey that looks like a seal!!!" and I pointed to an area on the ceiling. Then Bailey exclamied,"Hey it does!!!" You see, my walls and ceiling are textured so there are lots of little crevices forming little shapes. At realizing that some of the shapes look like certain things, (ex: dogs, cats, penguins, etc.) we found the cure for our boredness! We stayed up for about three hours getting excited at all the new little creatures we could find... If you don't think that that labels us as easily entertained, then i don't know what would...
Also one night we made an excursion with Bailey's mom to Walmart. Since
it wasn't exactly the most exciting thing one could do, we decided to roam around and be pretty much idiots... We played with crazy huge sunglasses, put as many large rings on our hands as we could fit,  slid down the  aisles on our slippery shoes, played with a toy horse, and so on so forth. Yes we did recieve many strange looks but it isn't exactly out of the ordinary for us to get those...

Which brings us to a more recent event. Going to see "Hancock" with one of our other friends... In preparing to go out into public we started goofing off changing
into outfits that most definitely are the opposite of matching and attractive... At first we were just messing around and we really did have in mind changing before leaving the house, but
instead we decided to test Pete's* friendship... So yes, you guessed it... We went to pick him up dressed like 80's aerobics instructors (that's the best we can describe how we were dressed...) to see his reaction. Poor, Poor Petey. He never saw that one coming, even though knowing us he probably should have... Once again we got very strange looks as we walked around the mall that included a movie theatre. (told you it was normal for us to get strange looks often... )

Now that you have been informed of how psyhcotic we are, we will tell you a little about us:

Bailey: I am a junior this year (yay halfway through high school!). I am attending E.V.I.T. taking the cosmetology course. It has been very exciting to learn how to manicure, pedicure, french braid, fish tail braid, and so on... In three months we will be learning to cut hair! Hopefully I catch on fast. I also love photography and want to become a photographer someday too. I love dancing and singing (especially with Hannah). My favorite singer right now is Secondhand Serenade. Also, I am learning how to play guitar. The first song I am learning is " Breakfast at Tiffany's." I can't wait to get better! I absolutely love the Twilight series and am currently reading Breaking Dawn (the 4th book). My favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice because I love romance, and my favorite color is yellow right now. I am also a spazz and usually care less what people think of me. Anyways, enough about me, here's Hannah!

Hannah:  Well i also am a junior in high school and am way stoked that next year i will graduate and go into the world!!! I absolutely LOVE music. I have played the piano for about 7 years and can't get enough of it!!! I also love singing and am in the top choir at my school which is very thrilling!!! I love dancing but I am not hard core like Bailey or anything, I just love too dance around pretending like I know what I am doing. Hehe. Umm... I love musicals my top favorite are Les Miserables and Aida. I never get tired of listening to the songs in them. My favorite colors are green and blue. Pretty much I don't have much of a life so I just drive around listening to music with my friends, and watch chick flicks since I am a hopeless romantic. (My favorite is of course, the newest Pride and Prejudice) But yeah that's all i can think of telling you right now...
So we are going to try and blog at least once a week, but you know how highs school can be... So just be patient with our little souls!!! Also * we change names of people for safety measures... Just so you know!!! Thanks for reading our blog and don't be afraid to leave a comment!!!
